Who we are
The South Sound Chambers of Commerce Legislative Coalition (SSCCLC) brings together Chambers of Commerce from South King County and North and East Pierce County to advocate for business-related legislation and public policy that benefits the business community. By uniting our voices, we develop annual legislative positions and engage in activities that advance the interests of businesses in our region.
Our coalition represents over 3,262 businesses, employing over 185,977 workers and generating over $100 billion in revenue across South King and North Pierce counties. Key industries include manufacturing, retail, services, and warehousing. The SSCCLC focuses on economic vitality, job creation, competitiveness, and regional productivity by advocating for fully funded transportation infrastructure, investment in education, workforce development, attainable housing, and access to health services.
